Art Show
Monday, August 27

Set-up 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
Drop Off Art 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Judging 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. (No students present)
Show 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Clean-up 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Rules and Information
- We will be displaying our artwork with other support groups but we will only be judged within Tipton HEART.
- Judging will be done by someone outside of our support group.
- Grades categories are K-12 and special learners.
- Students may have more than one entry in the Art Show but only one entry per student will advance to the Mid-South Fair School Art Contest.
- The work must have been completed within the last two years; you may enter artwork done the previous school year in the previous school year grade category.
- Any medium is acceptable paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures (including LEGO), etc.
- All entries must be the original work of the students. Copies of published or unpublished works done by someone else will not be accepted.
- All paintings and drawings must be SECURELY mounted on poster board or matted. Matting/poster board should not extend beyond three inches from the original artwork. No frames of any kind are allowed. Maximum size is 24” X 30”. Entries that are not securely mounted will not be displayed at the Mid-South Fair School Art Contest.
- Due to display space limitations, three dimensional entries that will not fit in the school art display case will be judged, but may not be displayed at the Mid-South Fair School Art Contest.
- Artwork cannot be picked up from the Art Show before 7:00 p.m. Any artwork left at the Art Show that is not advancing to the Mid-South Fair School Art Contest will be disposed of at the coordinators discretion.
- All artwork advancing to the Mid-South Fair School Art Contest must be left with the coordinator to be submitted to the Mid-South Fair School Art Contest.
