General Guidelines for Group Activities and Trips

  1. Preparation. One must register for the activity before the deadline and the exact number of adults and children attending must be stated. Do not, under any circumstances, show up for a scheduled activity without a reservation.
  2. Payment. Payment (if any) must be made to the activity coordinator at the time of reservation. Often field trips or activities must be paid in advance so will be non-refundable. (You may try to find a substitute; however, you are solely responsible for collecting reimbursement from the substituting party.)
  3. Age appropriateness. In the event that the activity coordinator has planned an outing for a certain age group, strict adherence must be followed. For example, if the outing is specific for grades K-6, do not bring a toddler or preschooler. Most activities will be appropriate for a wide range of ages.
  4. Punctuality. Please be at least 15 minutes early for every outing. At times, the group may not be allowed to begin or to be seated until everyone in the group has arrived. Often the facilities will not allow late comers to join the group, which may result in the forfeiture of money paid.
